Aikido isn’t just for grown-ups. When children take aikido classes with Aikido of New Orleans, they learn:

• calmness
• concentration
• confidence
• self-defense

As a physical activity, aikido will get them moving, giving them an outlet for their energy. And they’ll have fun and make friends.

Aikido of New Orleans holds children’s classes three times a week:

• Tuesdays –5:00-6:00 p.m.
• Thursdays – 5:00-6:00 p.m.
• Saturdays – 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Children’s classes are open to mature six-year-olds and older. Older children will have the opportunity to join in the adult classes when they are ready. Parents are encouraged to watch or participate.

Dues for children’s classes:

• Beginner’s Package – $145 (includes first two months dues and uniform)
• Monthly Dues – $60 per month
• Additional child discount – $10/month per child
