Aikido isn’t just for grown-ups. When children take aikido classes with Aikido of New Orleans, they learn:
- calmness
- concentration
- confidence
- self-defense
As a physical activity, aikido will get them moving, giving them an outlet for their energy. And they’ll have fun and make friends.
Aikido of New Orleans holds children’s classes three times a week:
- Tuesdays –5:00-6:00 p.m.
- Thursdays – 5:00-6:00 p.m.
- Saturdays – 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Children’s classes are open to mature six-year-olds and older. Older children will have the opportunity to join in the adult classes when they are ready. Parents are encouraged to watch or participate.
Dues for children’s classes:
- Beginner’s Package – $145 (includes first two months dues and uniform)
- Monthly Dues – $60 per month
- Additional child discount – $10/month per child
